{"id":4572,"date":"2025-09-22T10:08:26","date_gmt":"2025-09-22T08:08:26","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/decker-vt.de\/chemical-physical-wastewater-system\/"},"modified":"2025-11-06T13:16:23","modified_gmt":"2025-11-06T12:16:23","slug":"chemical-physical-wastewater-system","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/decker-vt.de\/en\/products\/chemical-physical-wastewater-system\/","title":{"rendered":"Chemical-physical wastewater system"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<div class=\"wp-block-group has-global-padding is-layout-constrained wp-block-group-is-layout-constrained gs_GvLxfB group_wrap\">\n<h1 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Chemical-physical wastewater system, CP system<\/h1>\n<\/div>\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-group alignfull has-tertiary-background-color has-background has-global-padding is-layout-constrained wp-block-group-is-layout-constrained gs_vMLJCP group_wrap\">\n<p>An industrial chemical-physical wastewater system is used for the chemical-physical (CP) treatment of wastewater produced in an industrial plant in order to meet the <a href=\"https:\/\/decker-vt.de\/en\/services\/indirect-discharger-application-whg\/\">regulatory requirements<\/a> for the discharge of wastewater into a body of water or a municipal wastewater treatment plant.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Any commercial or industrial use of water, even on a small scale, also generates wastewater, the discharge of which must be approved by the authorities. Approval for wastewater disposal is generally only granted if the water is pre-treated in accordance with the generally recognized rules of technology (e.g. DWA-M 765) or the state of the art (\u00a7 3 No. 11 WHG in conjunction with Annex 1 No. 13 in conjunction with BAT data sheets). This requires a chemical-physical wastewater system for pre-treatment, which treats the wastewater in the respectively required wastewater partial streams (e.g. chromium(VI) reduction or cyan oxidation) and then finally transfers it to a common treatment, usually in a hydroxide precipitation with an auxiliary additive in the batch or, if necessary, as a continuous flow system. The resulting hydroxide sludge is separated via a chamber filter press or a belt filter and the wastewater is passed through a multi-layer filter. Final cleaning is often carried out using a <a href=\"https:\/\/decker-vt.de\/en\/products\/selective-ion-exchanger-system\/\">selective exchanger<\/a> to remove residual metals, possibly with pH adjustment before and after the selective exchanger. Sampling for self-monitoring and plant-related government monitoring is carried out in the final pH control.      <br\/><\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:var(--wp--preset--spacing--large)\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-greyd-accordion gs_aplTxs hasiconleft\" data-autoclose=\"true\" data-openfirst=\"false\" style=\"margin-top:0;margin-bottom:0;padding-top:0;padding-bottom:0\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-greyd-accordion-item\"><button class=\"wp-block-greyd-accordion__title\" role=\"button\" type=\"button\" aria-expanded=\"false\" aria-controls=\"sect-nhwk-2\" id=\"title-nhwk-2\"><span><strong>Industrial chemical-physical wastewater system<\/strong><\/span><span class=\"icon icon-normal arrow_carrot-down\" aria-hidden=\"true\"><\/span><span class=\"icon icon-active arrow_carrot-up\" aria-hidden=\"true\"><\/span><\/button><div class=\"wp-block-greyd-accordion__content\" role=\"region\" id=\"sect-nhwk-2\" aria-labelledby=\"title-nhwk-2\" hidden>\n<p>Industrial companies are generally assigned to one of the industrial sectors listed in an annex of the Wastewater Ordinance (e.g. Annex 40 for metal processing companies) and must treat the wastewater with regard to various parameters depending on the type of discharge, direct into a body of water or indirect into the municipal wastewater treatment plant. For direct dischargers, Part C of the respective Annex applies; for indirect dischargers, the statutes of the municipal wastewater treatment plant apply instead.<br\/>With regard to the approved parameters, the chemical-physical wastewater system iis operated. For example, a chromium(VI) batch is detoxified separately by reducing the batch to chromium(III) at&lt;&lt; pH 2.5 (temperature-compensated) using the reducing agent sodium bisulphite, whereby the pH value is stabilized. The chromium(III) is then transferred in a batch treatment, if necessary together with other partial streams containing metal salts, in a hydroxide precipitation with the addition of e.g. flocculation polymer and bentonites into a sedimentation-capable precipitation product and, if necessary, concentrated in a sludge thickener. The solid\/liquid separation takes place in the batch via a chamber filter press or a belt filter after the clear water has been removed if necessary. The aqueous phase is pumped through a multi-layer filter to a (possibly externally as service regeneration of ion exchanger ) selective exchanger to be regenerated, so-called police filter, with an IDE ion exchanger resin such as Lewatit TP 207 in order to comply with the discharge monitoring values of the regulatory requirements. Equipment for pH adjustment may be installed upstream and\/or downstream of the <a href=\"https:\/\/decker-vt.de\/en\/products\/selective-ion-exchanger-system\/\">selective exchanger<\/a>.       <\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-greyd-accordion-item\"><button class=\"wp-block-greyd-accordion__title\" role=\"button\" type=\"button\" aria-expanded=\"false\" aria-controls=\"sect-m5en-3\" id=\"title-m5en-3\"><span><strong>Further process engineering expansion stages:<\/strong><\/span><span class=\"icon icon-normal arrow_carrot-down\" aria-hidden=\"true\"><\/span><span class=\"icon icon-active arrow_carrot-up\" aria-hidden=\"true\"><\/span><\/button><div class=\"wp-block-greyd-accordion__content\" role=\"region\" id=\"sect-m5en-3\" aria-labelledby=\"title-m5en-3\" hidden>\n<p>Modular kann die CP-Abwasseranlage um weitere Filterstufen erg\u00e4nzt werden, wie z.B. Aktivkohle, Selektivaustauscher mit z.B. <a href=\"https:\/\/lanxess.com\/de-DE\/Produkte-und-L%C3%B6sungen\/Marken\/Lewatit\/Produkte\/LEWATIT--TP-207\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Lewatit TP 207 <\/a>oder eine zus\u00e4tzliche Eisenoxid-\/hydroxidfilterstufe oder ein weiterer anionischer Selektivaustauscher um etwaige Organik, Komplexe oder PFC\/PFAS zu entfernen. Die Abwasseranlage kann weiterhin ggf. um Desinfektionsschritte, Oxidationsschritte oder Sp\u00fclschritte erweitert werden. Je nach Gr\u00f6\u00dfe der Anlage sind die Selektivaustauscher mit Ausr\u00fcstungen zum Regenerieren\/Konditionieren vor Ort ausger\u00fcstet oder werden in der zentralen Regenerationsstation in 92348 Berg \u00fcber die Dienstleistung <g id=\"gid_1\">Ionenaustauscher regenerieren<\/g> wiederaufbereitet. Soweit sich nicht behandelbare Teilstr\u00f6me in Abwasseranlagen befinden sollten, k\u00f6nnen diese selektiv einem Verdampfungsprozess zugef\u00fchrt werden.   <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The sensor design can be analog or digital, e.g. using Memosens sensors.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-greyd-accordion-item\"><button class=\"wp-block-greyd-accordion__title\" role=\"button\" aria-labelledby=\"title-ui4b-4\" hidden>\n<p>In addition to the technical requirements for the design of the wastewater system from the annexes of the Wastewater Ordinance or the statutes of municipal wastewater treatment plants\/sewage treatment plants, other preconditions may also apply to the operation of the wastewater system or the operating personnel that must be taken into account (e.g. DWA-M 1000 with regard to the monitoring of external personnel and <a href=\"https:\/\/decker-vt.de\/en\/services\/training\/\">training courses<\/a> of the own staff).<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n<style
