The DECKER Verfahrenstechnik GmbH team consists of 16 employees with over 35 years of experience and more than 5000 implemented systems. We see ourselves as a one-stop provider for the industrial water/wastewater market with regard to ion exchangers, ion exchanger systems, demineralization cartridges, ion exchanger regeneration, industrial reverse osmosis systems , chemical-physical wastewater systems and their accompanying market processes such as research and development, design, process engineering and legal advice and support for indirect discharger approvals and operation, maintenance and training.
We are a specialist company according to WHG (Water Resources Act) and certified according to DIN ISO 9001:2015 and DIN ISO 14001:2015. Daneben sind wir Mitglied der DWA – Deutsche Vereinigung für Wasserwirtschaft, Abwasser und Abfall e. V. und bringen uns dort normsetzend mit ein. Decker Verfahrenstechnik GmbH is also a member of Umwelt + Klimapakt Bayern, the German Water Partnership (GWP) and Umweltcluster Bayern (UCB).
Our customers are mostly located in the German-speaking regions of Germany, Austria, Switzerland and northern Italy. We also have individual English-speaking projects throughout the EU and beyond.

Our history
1987 Foundation
The company DECKER Verfahrenstechnik GmbH was founded in 1987 with the participation of Gebrüder Decker KG Nuremberg, which in turn emerged from the iron foundry Nuremberg-Mögeldorf Gebrüder Decker from 1891.
1961 Foundation stone in plant engineering
Gebrüder Decker KG took over Bäuml Beizanlagen GmbH in 1961, laying the foundations for plant construction. In 1979 Decker Anlagenbau GmbH was spun off from this company. In 1987, Decker Verfahrenstechnik GmbH was founded with a focus on ion exchangers and wastewater treatment. Initially still at the site “Röthenbühl 7”, a small part of the hall was taken over, but a few years later a complete hall aisle with around 1000 m³ was added.
2020 New building
In 2020, however, this also became too small and a new building with an area of around 2000 m² including its own photovoltaic system was built within the newly founded DECKER Group at the site “Bruckäcker 12, 92348 Berg near Neumarkt i.d.Opf.”, around 700 m away from the old building.
