Plastics workshop
Plastics are processed in the company’s own plastics workshop to offer customized solutions. For example, in addition to the customized process engineering adaptations, the systems can be optionally adapted to special customer-specific structural conditions, for example.
The following plastics are typically processed: PVC (polyvinyl chloride), PP (polypropylene), PE (polyethylene) and PVDF (polyvinylidene fluoride). The offered systems are typically fully assembled and tested in the plastics workshop. Pre-acceptance is possible. After internal quality assurance, the system is dismantled into modules ready for shipment, which are then delivered to the customer and reassembled there.
Due to the comprehensive WHG specialist company certification, systems subject to AwSV, e.g. LAU/storage systems for treatment chemicals (underground or hazard level C/D or hazard level B within water protection areas) and associated pipelines can also be constructed, repaired, cleaned from the inside or decommissioned, e.g. also the securing of containers in WHG areas against possible floating. AwSV (Systems for handling Substances Hazardous to Water), LAU (storage, filling, handling), WHG (Water Resources Act)
In the plastics workshop, it is also possible to manufacture special systems to customer specifications or carry out repairs to them, e.g. special tanks such as double-flow neutra with agitator and cross-flow, manual electroplating basins, covers, cascade basins for electroplating processes, e.g. with cross-flow and bottom outlet.
Other services from the plastics workshop are:
- Pipeline installation, WHG/AwSV-compliant
- Pipeline installation, WHG/AwSV-compliant
- Installation, replacement of pumps and measuring instruments and sensors such as pH/redox/conductivity/pressure/temperature/flow rate
- Tank construction and assembly (e.g. manual electroplating basin with cascade guide, drain, lid and suction) round and rectangular with steel struts, sloping bottom, agitator crossbars on the tank and decoupled.
- Tank equipment with UV lamps, agitators, hinged lids, pH/redox probes, sterile filter, surge chamber, manhole
- Maintenance of wastewater systems
- Change of gravel/sand/multi-layer filter
- Change of ion exchanger resins from stationary ion exchanger systems or selective ion exchanger systems
- Industrial plastic repairs on site
When milk of lime Ca(OH)2 is used in industrial wastewater treatment, the question often arises as to how the calcium hydroxide should be prepared. If the milk of lime is not purchased in liquid form (including the associated sedimentation problems), the milk of lime Ca(OH)2 can also be prepared on site using bagged CaO. However, the use of bagged goods is stressful for the workers due to the highly dusty and corrosive material. For this purpose, the KL-100 was developed, which makes it possible to fill the batch while largely reducing dust. The bag is cut open and placed in an emptying device. This closes, lifts up and empties the bag into the batch by gravity and water (and compressed air if necessary) . For this application in wastewater treatment, please note that the ReachVO may apply to any user from 1 ton/year of Ca(OH)2 produced, unless it is a non-isolated intermediate product.
